In Stardew Valley, completing bundles is the core objective in the early game. The Community Center has 6 bundle categories, each with 3-6 bundles, and each bundle unlocks different rewards. Here is a detailed guide to the order of unlocking bundle categories in the game!

1. Recommended Order for Unlocking Categories with Bundles

  1. Crafts Room Spring Foraging bundle: unlocks the Pantry and Fish Tank
  2. Pantry Spring Crops bundle: unlocks the Boiler Room
  3. Fish Tank Crab Pot bundle: unlocks the Bulletin Board
  4. Crafts Room Summer Foraging bundle or Fish Tank Ocean Fish bundle: unlocks the Vault

2. Recommended Order for Unlocking Rooms

  1. Boiler Room: The Boiler Room has fewer bundles, no seasonal restrictions, and you just need to mine a lot, making it relatively easy to complete. After unlocking it, you get direct access to The Mines (first floor), town (next to the Blacksmith), the Bus Stop (next to your farm), and the Quarry, saving a lot of walking time. It's recommended to unlock it first.
  2. Pantry: It's recommended to unlock it in the first winter so you can use the greenhouse. The greenhouse ignores seasons and can grow all crops, ensuring income in winter. So pay attention to all Pantry bundle items; some can be bought from the Traveling Cart.
  3. Vault: Also called the Underground, because it just requires money to unlock, a total of 42,500g. After unlocking, you can ride the bus to the desert, starting new adventures. Skull Cavern, the Casino, and the Sandfish for the Fish Tank are all in the desert.
  4. Crafts Room: Unlocking it opens up the Quarry. Using bombs there quickly yields stone and ore. Also, the cave where you get the Golden Scythe is in the Quarry.
  5. Fish Tank and Bulletin Board: These two can be done at a relaxed pace. One reason is their completion is somewhat difficult, and the rewards aren't very impactful. Just complete them whenever you feel like it. Of course, if you choose to complete all bundles in the first year, the Traveling Cart will sell Red Cabbage on some day in year one.
