Spring: Resource Accumulation and Infrastructure
Initial Preparation (Spring 1 - Spring 4)
- Spring 1: Clear the area in front of the farmhouse and plant 15 Parsnips to quickly raise Farming to level 1. Chop wood to craft two Chests, placing one at home and carrying the other.
- Spring 2: Go to the Mountain Lake to get the fishing rod from Willy. Fish from the first tile on the small island in the center of the lake. Early fishing should aim for "Perfect" catches for higher experience (Gold/Iridium star fish give significant XP bonuses).
- Spring 3 - 4: These days are usually fixed rainy days. Head to the river area (e.g., below Marnie's Ranch) to try catching Catfish. Buy the Fiberglass Rod from Pierre's shop and equip it with bait. Fishing can continue until 2:00 AM to maximize gold accumulation.
Farming and Mine Exploration (Spring 5 - Spring 12)
- Spring 5: Harvest the Parsnips. Go to Pierre's shop to buy the 2000g backpack upgrade and purchase 16 Cauliflower seeds to plant (ensuring Farming reaches level 2).
- Mine Strategy: The daily goal is to reach mine level 40 as quickly as possible. Mine Copper and Iron ore in proportion. It's recommended to place a Chest and a Furnace at the mine entrance for immediate smelting.
- Sap Collection: Keep 15-30 Oak Trees and level Foraging to 3 to unlock the Tapper. Craft Tappers and place them on Oak Trees to collect Oak Resin, a core material for crafting Kegs later.
Strawberry Planting and Sprinklers (Spring 13 - Spring 28)
- Spring 13 (Egg Festival): Buy Strawberry seeds. Beginners are advised to plant around 200 Strawberry plants.
- Sprinkler Setup: Every 4 Strawberry plants requires 1 Basic Sprinkler (costs 5 Copper Bars and 5 Iron Bars). For 200 plants, prepare 50 Sprinklers (250 Copper Ore and 250 Iron Ore).
- Profession Choice: At Farming level 5, choose the "Tiller" profession (increases crop sell price by 10%).
- Tool Upgrades: Prioritize upgrading the Pickaxe and Axe to improve resource gathering efficiency.
Summer: Core Brewing Phase
Hops Planting (Summer 1)
Clear the withered Strawberry plants. Using the existing tilled land and sprinkler layout, plant around 118 Hops plants. Hops can be harvested daily in Summer and are the best brewing ingredient for the early game.
Keg Crafting and Brewing (Summer 15 - Summer 28)
- Summer 15: By now, Farming should be level 8, unlocking the Keg recipe.
- Brewing Process: Use the accumulated Oak Resin, Iron Bars, and Copper Bars to craft around 60 Kegs. Start brewing Pale Ale. Pale Ale has a very short brewing cycle (about 1-2 days), allowing for high-frequency production rotation.
- Advanced Profession: At Farming level 10, be sure to choose the "Artisan" profession (increases artisan goods sell price by 40%). At this point, Pale Ale sells for up to 420g.
Fall: Profit Maximization and Greenhouse
Pumpkin Farming and Scale Expansion
- Fall Crops: Switch crops to Pumpkins. Processing Pumpkins into Juice yields very high profits.
- Keg Expansion: Continue mining for ore and gathering wood to increase the number of Kegs to over 120.
- Profit Estimate: The total income from 118 Hops plants in Summer is approximately 840,000g. Combined with the profits from Fall Pumpkin Juice, the total first-year profit can easily exceed one million gold.
Future Planning
After unlocking the Greenhouse, prioritize planting Starfruit or Ancient Fruit for brewing. As the Keg operation continues to expand, gold will no longer be a limiting factor for development. Once the brewing process is mastered, players can use their free time to fully experience other aspects of the game like socializing, combat, and exploration.
