Unable to Save, Console Crashes

  1. First, review the first six suggestions in the "Common Troubleshooting" section.
  2. If still unresolved, first delete the SMAPI version of Stardew Valley's launcher, then delete the SMAPI folder.
  3. Re-download the latest version of SMAPI from Nexus Mods, extract it, and copy-paste it into the Stardew Valley local folder.
  4. Double-click to open the SMAPI folder, find the console program, and run it.
  5. Re-perform the installation in the console: type 1, press Enter.
  6. Green text appears, indicating successful installation; close the console.
  7. Exit the folder, find the SMAPI version of Stardew Valley's launcher, and try running the game again.

Download Progress at 0%, Download Page Doesn't Redirect, Large Mod Downloads Fail

Nexus Mods is an international website; this situation is normal. Please try refreshing the webpage or refreshing at a different time. If it persists, you can contact us via the backend.

Console Doesn't Pop Up, Downloaded Package Disappears

Pay attention to pop-up notifications from your antivirus software and grant permission. If there are no prompts, check your system settings for options marked "Do not show pop-ups." Disable additional antivirus software and also check the settings of your system's built-in antivirus to find which options are blocking pop-ups and which are forcibly deleting suspected virus files. If you cannot resolve it, you can contact us via the backend.

Replacing Chinese Translation

  1. On Nexus Mods, find the page for the mod you want to translate into Chinese.
  2. Below the "Requirements" section, find the Chinese translation file and click to enter its page.
  3. Confirm and download any required prerequisite mods (if needed).
  4. Download the translation file and extract it.
  5. Open the Stardew Valley local folder and find the target mod folder you want to translate.
  6. Compare the structure of the translation folder and the target mod folder.
  7. Copy and paste the files/folders from the translation file that have the same name or corresponding structure as the mod into the target mod folder.
  8. The system will prompt "Replace the file?"; confirm the replacement.

Note: Some translation files contain multiple items that need replacement; please copy, paste, and replace them all. Alternatively, if the translation file, when opened to its deepest level, doesn't have a folder with the exact same name as the mod but contains white files and extra files compared to the mod, copy and paste all of them into the target mod folder.

If the issue persists after the above steps, or if your problem is not covered above, please describe the problem in detail again.
