Minecraft Locate Command Guide: Quickly Find End Strongholds and Structures
How to Use the locate Command to Find Structures
First, you need to enable cheat mode. Enter /locate stronghold in the chat box. After confirming the command, the system will display the coordinates of the nearest structure, shown as "Block [XXX, XXX, XXX]".
Once you have the coordinates, enter /tp XXX XXX XXX, and you'll be teleported to the target building! However, keep in mind that in some versions, the structures you can find might be somewhat limited (such as end structures).
Command Usage Notes
The /locate command must be used in the correct dimension to work. For example, an End Stronghold exists in the Overworld, so you must enter the command while in the Overworld to get coordinates. If you enter it in another dimension, you'll get a message saying "No valid structure found in this dimension".
