Minecraft Survival Guide: Turn a Newbie into a Pro in One Minute
Hi everyone, today I’m sharing some Minecraft survival tips to help beginners get started fast.
1. Craft Basic Tools
The first thing to do after spawning is punch 3 wood blocks, craft a crafting table, then a wooden pickaxe. To save hunger, I suggest digging down 3–4 blocks right away to get stone and make stone tools for survival. In the early game, stone tools are essential.
2. Collect Wheat Seeds
Wheat plays a huge role early on. I recommend breaking grass while exploring to gather seeds—once you have wheat, animal breeding and a steady food source are no longer worries.
3. Craft a Bed to Survive the Night
To get through the night safely, always collect wool from sheep and craft a bed. This is a must-do during the early stages.
4. Gather Resources and Cook Food
Whether it’s coal or iron ore, grab it whenever you find it—these resources are crucial early on. When you find animals, collect their meat and cook it. Cooked meat restores twice the hunger of raw meat.
5. Choose a Spot to Build Your Home
Pick a good location for your base—preferably open terrain with good visibility and easy building conditions. It’s best if there are cows nearby, as cows are far more valuable than pigs or sheep in the early game.
