Yes Steve Model Mod Features
The Yes Steve Model mod fully considers the needs of server communities and adopts a series of designs suitable for server environments:
- Automatic Client Model Synchronization: When a player joins the server, the system automatically synchronizes the model to their client.
- Model File Encryption: Models sent to clients are encrypted binary files, effectively preventing model resources from being illegally extracted.
- Model Permission Function: Models can be authorized individually. Players can only use specific models after they have been authorized by an administrator (OP) command.
- Vanilla Player Model Modification: Includes default Steve and Alex models and supports automatic display of player skins.
- Convenient Customization Function: Simply place model, texture, and animation files into the specified folder, then enter the
reloadcommand in-game to automatically load and synchronize them, without the need for complex configuration files. - Animation Wheel Function: Press the Z key (default) to open the animation wheel and play various fun animations.
Compatibility Notes
- First-Person Models: Provides limited compatibility support.
- Timeless and Classics (TAC) Guns: Perfectly supports action animations for holding guns, reloading, aiming, and shooting.
- Carry On: Includes animations for carrying blocks and entities. In versions 1.19.2 and 1.20, it also supports carrying another player.
- SlashBlade: Supports rendering blades in the main hand and off-hand. Custom slash animations are not yet supported.
Usage Instructions
After joining the server and completing model synchronization, press Alt + Y (default key) to open the model management interface:
- Model Switching: Click the buttons to switch models. A gray background indicates the model is not authorized; the number in the top-left corner represents the number of textures available for that model.
- Category Switching: You can switch between "All Models," "Authorized Models," and "Favorited Models."
- Detail Panel: You can view all textures and animations for a model. In the preview window, left-click and drag to rotate, right-click and drag to pan, and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom.
