[Minecraft] Redstone Flicker
Redstone Flicker
A redstone flicker is a high-speed redstone loop device that constantly switches a redstone signal between 0 and 1.
1. Repeater Flicker
The number of repeaters and their delay settings determine the flicker speed. To activate this device, you need to quickly toggle a lever or use an observer block.
Note: When there are only two repeaters, both must be set to the fourth delay setting.
2. Redstone Torch Flicker (Normal)
This device flickers at a normal speed.
3. Redstone Torch Flicker (High-Speed)
This is a truly high-speed flicker device.
4. Comparator Flicker
This type of flicker device can be turned on and off.
5. Minecart Flicker
This device relies on a minecart passing over detector rails to send a signal. Because there are two detector rails, it can alternately send two signals.
6. Piston Flicker
The principle of this device is self-evident.
Note: The redstone block must be placed last.
7. Hopper Flicker
The flicker speed can be changed by altering the number of hoppers. It can also be controlled with a lever: the device is off when the lever is on, and on when the lever is off. If this logic feels counterintuitive, you can add a NOT gate.
8. Dropper Flicker
This device is modified from a dropper latch, and its principle is similar to the hopper flicker.
