Minecraft: 13 Interior Designs Every Refined MC Player Must Master!

The Rough-and-Tumble Minecraft: Build a shoebox house, or dig a hole and jump in—that's home.

The Refined Rough-and-Tumble Player: Passionate about various interior decor, color schemes, and architectural combinations. You need a dining room to eat and a bedroom to rest—that's what makes a home.

So, do you want to live more elegantly in Minecraft and become a refined piggy boy/girl? These interior and furniture constructions and combinations are worth your collection.

1. Kitchen Stove

Many people try to create a modern minimalist-style kitchen in Minecraft, but that requires corresponding modern texture packs and shaders to pull off. Actually, a vanilla-style kitchen isn't difficult.

Materials: From top to bottom—cobblestone wall, stone slab, extinguished campfire, trapdoor, flower pot, lantern, barrel, smoker.

To make it look like a busy kitchen, just light the campfire, and wisps of cooking smoke will rise.

2. Wardrobe

A rough-and-tumble player in MC stuffs all their gear into their backpack; a redstone master stores equipment in dispensers; only a player who lives elegantly would think that even a game home might need a wardrobe.

Thus, using trapdoors, barrels, and armor stands, you can create a minimalist wardrobe. The bottom of the wardrobe cleverly hides a crafting table and a furnace, making it a multifunctional piece that also conceals utility blocks. Who knew it could look so good!

3. Fish Tank

Fish are the most numerous creature type in Minecraft. Tropical fish alone can spawn over 2,700 varieties from combinations of 2 body shapes, 15 base colors, 6 patterns, and 15 pattern colors. So, using glass with the new textures to create a fish tank instantly elevates the room's style.

4. Computer Desk

Minecraft doesn't have a computer model. Some use a flipped player head to make an old-fashioned bulky monitor. A more common solution is to use a painting as a laptop screen and a button as the mouse.

5. Long Table

Since 1.13 added more trapdoor materials, spruce trapdoors have played a crucial role in furniture and interior construction. They can even completely replace thick slab blocks. Skillfully using spruce trapdoors, you'll find their uses are more than you imagined.

6. Bed

Compared to a regular "bed," bunk beds give a greater sense of security. Why? Because when beds were first added in the beta version, players sleeping in them could be attacked by monsters. So, veteran players back then would place their beds in higher locations. Later, Mojang discovered this bug and, to prevent attacks while sleeping, added a feature in 1.0 that prevents sleeping if monsters are nearby.

7. Bathroom

Turtle eggs + end rods can create a very beautiful crystal chandelier. Did you think of this combination? Stripped oak wood + stripped birch wood can be combined to make a two-toned wooden floor. Of course, a bathroom doesn't have much practical use in a "Minecraft" room.

8. Living Room

Using three black banners layered can create curtains. Using two black beds can form a sofa you can sleep on anytime. You don't need a deliberate modern texture pack to recreate a minimalist living room. All the lighting fits perfectly into the interior. Meanwhile, you, the rough-and-tumble player, stare at the torches filling your room and fall into deep thought.

9. Stable

Interior decor in a broad sense can be understood as design details built around your shelter, such as this stable and carriage. Two horses can be tied to the front of the carriage, creating a strong rustic architectural style.

10. Doghouse

You might not have your own shelter, but please build a doghouse for your dog. It doesn't need to be a large room, just enough to shelter from wind and rain, with a flower pot to hold the dog food. Of course, dog food in Minecraft is just bones.

11. Birdcage

Initially, village players discovered in 1.14 that using a piston to push glass directly into the block containing a parrot allows the parrot to stay inside the glass without suffocating. However, this birdcage design prevents interaction with the parrot unless you break the glass.

12. Small Flower Bed

Westerners always like to plant some flowers and grass in their front yards, which has given rise to their innate design skills for small gardens. The average player just thinks of planting them on the ground. That's the difference.

13. Lumber Mill

If possible, never waste the dynamic texture of the "stonecutter" that inherently has a lumber mill property. This might be one of the rarest blocks in all of Minecraft history. So, using a stonecutter combined with rails to complete a lumber mill will make your shelter feel more like a Mole Manor.

So, in "Your World," are you a refined player who loves interior decor, or a rough-and-tumble one who just digs a hole and buries yourself?
